THE PRAYER OF PETITION - THE GREAT MEANS OF GAINING ETERNAL SALVATION AND ALL THE GRACES WE DESIRE FROM GOD

It is written by St. Alphonsus Liguori.  This booklet is a new translation from the Italian by Rev. W. Grean, CSSR.

It is published by Majellan Press.

St. Alphonsus in his foreward talks of prayer and takes from St. Thomas Aquinas that “prayer is the raising up of mind to God.”

This is a beautiful book on prayer from the "Master of Moral Theology" (Doctor Moralis) He is the patron saint of confessors and moral theologians because he revolutionized how the Catholic Church handled conscience, confession and pastoral care.
