This book  on the Passion and death of Our Saviour is very detailed.  It is faithful to the biblical account of Our Saviour.  It is this book that inspires Mel Gibson to make the movie, The Passion of Christ.  The author's, Blessed Catherine Emmerich, narrative is enlightening, very stimulating and moving.  The redemptive role of Our Lady is masterfully presented.  The book includes a short biography of Sr. Emmerich.
