This book was originally printed by Benziger Brothers in 1937, with imprimatur in 1937.  It was compiled and edited by Rev. F. X. Lasance.

This book is very useful for meditation and to help us understand the meaning of patience.  It contains beautiful poems and prayers as well as stories, counsels and maxims.  One of which, “The patient man is better than the valiant: and he that ruleth his spirit he that taketh cities.”
