MEMORIES OF PIUS X

This book is the narration of the memories of St Pius X by Cardinal Merry del Val.  Cardinal Mary del Val was a Spanish Catholic bishop, Vatican official. Before becoming a cardinal, he served as the secretary of the papal conclave of 1903 that elected Pope Pius X.  The book is a fascinating account of Vatican (behind the scenes) and a portrait of papal authority when exercised by a saint.  One of the description of the pope saint by the Cardinal In this book states, “St Pius X’s look, his word, his whole being express three things: goodness, firmness, faith.
