I ACCUSE THE COUNCIL

This is a famous 1976 book and series of interventions by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, a traditionalist Catholic leader. It is a critical analysis of the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II) (1962–1965).

Archbishop Lefebvre’s core accusations and reasons center on his belief that the Council introduced liberal and modernist ideas that contradicted historical Catholic dogma. 

A major player at Vatican II, Archbishop Lefebvre made these 12 official statements at the Council exposing the danger of its documents. He warned that the faithful would become confused, doubting the necessity of the Church, the sacraments, the conversion of non-Catholics, and the necessity of authority.
